My humble newbie opinion is that the tax issue could play a big part in this. If he fought Pac in November he would have a MASSIVE tax bill for 2010. But he needs to come out and say something, anything, because he is taking a massive PR hit right now. But perhaps he is the unique type of person that truly does not care what anyone thinks about him. I don't think that's true, however, because he seems to be borderline obsessed with his "0" and his legacy.

Good read. However if Floyd has 5 good reasons why not just come out with one and roll with it. Its all about building the fight and drama. He could easily come out and say I dont want to fight because of x...but he hasnt. he is just being a diva and building the fight. They will fight in May 2011.Comment

I loved it because it is a realistic look by Scoop at Floyd, who he is a huge fan of. He isn't calling Mayweather a coward, he never said anything about no longer being a fan, he just feels like Mayweather is on the verge of letting him down.
I remember an article he wrote after Tarver KOed Roy, the guy is a huge fan, and he legitimately just doesn't want to be that disappointed in a favorite fighter of his again.Comment
