Ok, take your attention off the word "FATTON" for a brief second and please answer my question.

What advantages would Floyd have over Hatton by fighting him at 147 as opposed to 140?

Cotto at 145 or 147 gets destroyed by Pac. These are two of the biggest conspiracy theories on this forum that needs to be laid to rest: At 147 Pac vs Cotto would have been a different fight and at 140 Mayweather would have been a different fight. Nonsense.
because Floyd couldve won the JWW lineal title thats why..he was already the WW LINEAL champ..thats incentive..i belive he had it at the other weight classes he fought in..

Hatton said after he fought Colzao at 147 that he had no business there.....and went right back down to 140

His trainer also said that they didn't prepare properly for Collazo. And, for the record, Collazo was a TOUGH southpaw. He wasn't a push over. But, he and Floyd could have fought at 140 AFTER Ricky had beaten Kostya over in England. However, his camp said they weren't ready for that fight, yet.

Why would Floyd move backwards, especially when Ricky had no problems at all making 147. This was never an issue before he got destroyed and wasn't after. Its only here people make up this excuse to try and discredit Floyds win in that fight. He never cared about the JWW belt, if he did he would have had it come on be serious. Collazo is a bigger welterweight than Floyd. Matter of fact the Hatton that you are making up the excuse for at 147 was deemed the naturally bigger and stronger fighter going into the Floyd fight.

                      At..140

Floyd would be the CHALLENGER in a weight class where the champion fought the majority of his career. Floyd took easy fights through 140 IMO ( and only three) where Hatton was at long time fighting and beating a Kostya Zoo.

At 147 Hatton would be fighting in a weight class that he already stated was not his best. Almost being knocked out and his ****** up face after the Collzao fight proved it. Also, the fact that he went right back down to his natural weight class 140 following that close call.
