I want to see a good, punishing fight. I want both fighters to take punishment. pac hasn't really been challenged since the first few rounds of the Cotto fight.

I don't believe Roach when he says Pac wanted Margs next after he beat Oscar. If that was so, then surely he would have been able to get that fight made easily. After the Cotto beat down ,no one wanted any of Margs. The only fighter that i can recall trying to get a fight was PWill and his team offering him a rematch and an opportunity to avenge his loss to PWill. Then Mosley fought Margs after he couldn't get any other fights that he wanted.

i actually remember roach being asked right after the de la hoya fight if he wanted pac to fight margo, who at the time was the strongest mexican fighter at welterweight, and roach said, "we're not that crazy". it was a smart move, pac was just coming up from lightweight and there was good money to be made from the hatton fight instead. i also get the sense that arum and golden boy wanted to work together while they still could, cause they suspected that the problems would come back sooner or later. so hatton was the best choice.

but i find it funny that everyone uses people's trash talk against them after a fight. roach says, "de la hoya is nothing!" and people call him crazy, then pac beats him, and then people say, "no big deal, de la hoya was crap anyway, even freddie said so".

now freddie says "mayweather is the easiest fight". everyone knows that's crazy, probably even freddie knows it's bull. but if pac beats floyd, what are yall gonna say? "i knew floyd was crap all the time, even freddie said so. pac's still ducking williams and martinez!"

What if Margo knocks Manny out?

He might have a small inkling of a desire to redeem himself and erasing some of the recent past he's endured by sparking Manny out.

Then again, he might take a hint from Clottey and Milli Vanilli ("Blame It On The Runs") after he loses.

Not happening buddy, Margie is too slow & has no footwork, Manny right now is a beast, even Mayweather didnt want non of that, I see Margie getting stopped before the 10th round.

Margarito was finished by SSM and wasnt any good in the first place the *****s will say.

Yes it is a pretty sad state of boxing we are in. Styles make fights so what one guy did to another at what weight really doesn't mean **** until they step in the ring against each other. Margarito can punch but his ability to take punishment is probably his best attribute. With that being said I think this will be a very easy fight for Manny. He will box circles around him and eventually they will stop the fight.

Another thing that people do not seem to understand is Floyd and Manny don't run from anyone. There are people that say Floyd is scared of Margarito and Cotto and Manny is scared of SSM and JMM 3 which is just not true. Manny beat Cotto and will soon beat Margarito and Floyd beat SSM at 47 and JMM at 45. They pretty much beat those guys for each other while maximizing Bob Arums' long term profit. The 3 of the possible 4 fights that happened were cake walks and I think both sides knew this going into the fights. The thing that they understand that your average fan doesn't; when they announce a fight that isn't the one everyone wants we sit here and bash whomever the guilty party at the time is ad nauseum, when really its just foreplay for the fight everyone wants and will ultimately pay $70 to see.

The fact is if Manny and Floyd would have happened in 2009 what fight would your 'average' fan be looking forward to, probably Randy Savage vs Lesnar in some cage match. Obviously the real boxing fans could look forward to JuanMa and Gamboa but boxing needs to bring the casual fan back from MMA and if they can develop another household name in boxing that people actually want to pay to see then they will be alright. But until then we will be stuck talking about this fight which will happen in April or May of 2011 hopefully by that time the Andre Wards, Andre Dirrells, JuanMas, Pwills and Smartz will be enough to make people want to talk about fights other than May vs Pac.

i cant stand when roach starts to talk real tough and make predictions in cherry picked fights.were koing hatton,cotto,clottey,and now margs. who cares? its a cherry picked gimme for pac, why doesnt he move up in weight with honor and fight angulo, or another dangerous legit 154lber? will he make all these tough talk predictions then? hope margs pulls out one last fight and ko's pac just to shut roach up, and pac needs to stop cherry picking these fights, if ur the best face the best stop making boxing a sideshow attraction, bring honor to the sport for chissakes.

The fact is in Pac's last two fights, Clottey came off a lose and hasn't beat anyone of notice since Judah in 2008 and Margarito hasn't looked good in the ring since beating Cotto in 2008...
