I don't mind Ortiz against Harri, it is a long road back for Ortiz and this is part of the proicess. Plus Ortiz should be able to look impressive and that is the main point of having a fight like that, if a guy looks super impressive it almost doesn't amtter the opponent tbh.

I think Mosley-Mora could be alright though, the Latin Snake usally lets his hands go a great deal and Mosley should be able to find a home for that right hand. Not the most meaningful fight but it can still be fun.

Do I need to go on because there are more reasons but mainly it has to do with the fact the fight can be sold both live gate and ppv (even if it not a very appealing main event). Keep in mind Canelo is likely to end up on the card also expanding the appeal to a key market.

Also explain who you could pair with Mosley currently that this can be said about and keep in mind if you bring up a Top Rank fighter you are talkiong a hard fight to make.
bradley-champ, berto-champ, PW-? but a name nonetheless, cotto-champ. HBO would pay the money and those mean more for his so called legacy than sergio ***in mora. ssm is a chump who begged for pbf only for a payday. He feared that "coward" for years until he had nothing to lose. Thats a FACT no matter how u clowns try to spin it.

Mora isn't even close to a recognizeable name anymore and if Goldenboy believes that then they are delusional.

Mora won the contender in like 2005 and hasn't done **** since.

I'm actually not even a Mora hater, and i even think he is a little underrated. But jesus what happend to the days when u had to do something to earn a fight against a legend like Mosley.

And Angulo is a Gary Shaw fighter but that fight still wouldnt be easy to make but they didnt even try. Angulo would have taken that fight for PEANUTS and why wouldnt he? A win over Mosley garuntees him like 5 years on HBO and millions and millions of dollars.

          Bradley-Mosley won't sell in LA

          Doubly so for Mosley-Williams

Cotto could work but that is a TOp Rank collaboration and they are not on the best terms, besides that is not an ideal fight comming off the Mayweather fight.

I never said anything about Floyd and Mosley~, I like Shane but Shane when he get frusterated he drops down about 5 notches in level. ANyone who watches Shane consistently should have known that.

That has nothing to do with the question at hand and the fact remains is that it is a fight that can be sold, hardcore fans are not their target with this fight although if they put on a decent undercard most hardcore will find a way to view it~

It DEFINITELY won't sell. No chance. If it breaks 200,000 buys id be floored

yea its a tune-up but for whom?!?!?!?!

Mosley is almost 40 years old. He should going after the best EVERY time out.

Fighting Mora proves nothing to anybody. Its not gonna help him get a fight against anybody big if thats the thought process...
I see it as a measuring stick fight for Mosley. Maybe he's trying to prove something to himself? Who knows, perhaps he felt that he couldn't make 147 comfortably anymore so he fights at 154 to feel it out, and If he can't beat Mora or doesn't feel good in there anymore maybe he feels he can't hang at 154 either and calls it a day before it's too late.

Canelo may effect the gate but he would it wouldnt budge the PPV numbers IMO

IF thats true, and IF mosley asked for this fight or a fight like it, then I would understand. Thats a good point

Mosley will actualyl have a tougher time in this fight than people think.

...not that its worth being a PPV, but I have a hunch that Mosley wont be destroying Mora early or anything.

Mosley coming off a loss can take a tuneup, however, on PPV, that simply is a huge joke in my opinion. He's not DLH who fights exclusively on PPV most of his life.
