I would love to see either one of them win this award at this part in their respective careers.

Fighter of the year will be Andre Dirrell or Andre Ward.

Andre Ward deserves it. If Bradly decided to quit avoiding Alexander, Alexander would have been the fighter of the year.

But he won't be, because he's not an American and because his skin is the wrong color. They'll discredit him like they always do by saying his opponents were no good.

If he and Donaire fight and he can take out Donaire that would be the cherry on top.
Montiel has had a phenomenal year. Too bad the lower weight classes don't get as much attention

He's been very busy, and winning impressively. That Montiel/Donaire fight will be something special.

Solid candidates that should win the award over the Ward-Dirrell winner. Assuming everything goes according to plan:
Montiel should definitely be the front runner because the man knocked out a top 10 P4P fighter and if he beats Donaire clearly and cleanly that's a top 5 P4P fighter (even though he doesn't belong there, he has the talent of 1 and should be in everyone's top 20).
Lopez if he beats Luevano, Concepcion, Marquez, and John, is definitely one of the front runners, no matter what happens with anyone else because if he does win, I assume it'll be by knockout in a good fight also.
Martinez if he can get his hands on Paul Williams and beat him decisively again, then he should definitely be a front runner for FOY.
Wladimir Klitschko if he knocks out Chambers, Peter, and beats Adamek decisively, Wlad should definitely get some consideration, especially since Adamek should be at least close to everyone's top 10 P4P right now.
