If people are just looking at Pirog's destruction of Jacobs then they're ******. Pirog has a good resume and no one else managed to beat Kofi as bad as Pirog did.
It's a shame he's 30, but he's got another few years left in him. He's fought 3 times so far in 2010, hopefully he can fight another time at the end of the year. Then start his charge at the top middleweights in '11.

Jacobs is just the first step in a long line of different levels of fighters. Pavlik would be next and then you get into the really elite of 160 with Williams and Martinez. Pirog has a long way to go.

Martinez vs Pirog would be an interesting fight, but Pirog isn't ready just yet. He needs to take some more scalps at 160.
Pirog would break his heart.

He has frightening ability. What is he, a lightweight? I can't remember.
He was the only guy at Beijing that really captured the imagination with the awful point scoring. I also remember a guy called Usyk who I'm not sure even medaled but was the only other guy who was fun to watch.
I don't understand why he hasn't turned pro, he's accomplished everything possible in the amateur ranks.
