Yep, 2008 was indeed a bad time for renting, but i think there are better ways of getting out of an arrangement than not paying your rent and eventually getting sued for it.

It's called a contract for a reason. You can't just default on it because you don't want to make payment or it no longer benefits you. His credit rating is going down the drain if he keeps these stunts up.

Well, it is like walking away from an underwater house. It really is not a great idea but there can be a case made to do it finacially if you are only looking at it as dollars and not a place to live.

Yea you can default and pay the penalty, that is why the penalty is there, if it makes sence to go that route (the penalty is cheaper than what you will eventually pay) why not. This is strictly business, you never want to go that route but if the situation goes downhill whatever what needs to be done is what is right for the company. It would not have been Floyd the person to lease that anyways I am sure he has a corperation set up for his company so they can't come back after him for cash.


The only reason I said that anyways is that people are saying it is a bad move and that may not be the case, it is kind of a ****ty way of doing things but sometimes that makes sence also.

bottom line, all floyd has to do, is take one day off from sports betting, and go to the bank, make a deposit into a account that pays all his bills, i'm sure one of his bets is enough to cover his bills................. he hasn't done it yet, so i don't expect him to jack ****, other than not paying bills, getting sued and paying more money than he originally owes/owed.
