I think Taylor has strength, quickness and the mindset to be a good fighter, i just believe that from the 4-5 times i have seen him fight he appears to not move or punch fluidly. He appears to box in a forced manner, like it doesn't come naturally to him. I still think he has a good cahnce tomorrow, but it was just a observation i wondered if anyone else noticed.

To me, Taylor fights robotic and appears to not be a "natural"

i agree with you of the movement part. he seems to be a lil bit slow(his feet), but i think he does put his punches together pretty well. but he just needs his jab to set up his combos which is fine. i think he has a real good chance to beat him. i just haven't seen him have to use his defense very much so i hope we get to see if he does have a good D

I don't know about him moving robotic but his hooks sometimes get sloppy. If he throws the slow hook Hopkins will beat him to the punch. I still think he will be middle weight champ... after Hopkins retires. He's just a little to green to fight a crafty veteran like Bernard at this stage of his career.

I barely ever post on here, but I read a lot of threads. I just have to say that even if Taylor doesn't pull out a win tonight, its still going to be a huge showcase for his skills.
Right now, this really is the only test out there for either man at this weight. Taylor and Hopkins, despite their physical differences, fight in generally the same manner. Hopkins is much more controlled, which comes with experience, but both guys plod forward methodically and counter well. I think Taylor has better finishing skills, but Hopkins will definitely prove his experience in the ring.
StillI gotta go with my favorite fighter Jermain Taylor by UD, even if it is a biased prediction. I honestly think he has a chance to win if he forces B-Hop to FIGHT. You gotta remember people, B-Hop hasn't been forced out of his comfort zone in a LONG time. If Taylor can be disruptive, anything could happen, because at that point experience goes out the window, and hunger + physical ability can take over the fight, which is what JT has going for him.
