Defensively yea. But both of them fought differently. You also have to consider the level of competition Leonard fought in comparison to Floyd. Leonard had a great Boxing IQ, but he also wasn't afraid to let his hands go either, even as he progressed.

You can argue Floyd skillfully has attributes that may be a little better than Ray's, but Ray to me was a much more exciting fighter to watch and fought better competition in his prime. Take it for what you will though.
