    GOOD POST !!

That doesn't mean that he is going to avoid fighters to stay unbeaten.
    Agree, obviously.

The..... " Mayweather is a coward " ..... bull****, is just childish.

And yes I definitely agree with you..... Mayweather's career has been very carefully crafted, as has Manny Pacquiao's.

Amazing.
Even in spite of Manny's remarkable achievements, I think that I agree with you..... I doubt that he is using PED's. But I just wish that I knew for sure.

It was disappointing back in January to see Mayweather agree to 50/50 (WTF?) and a 14-day cutoff, only for Manny to decline because 14 days was not long enough.

Whilst I agree with your sentiment..... that these two Prima Donna's are both starting to look a little silly..... you certainly have to lay the blame squarely at Manny's feet for sinking the fight during the first negotiations.

I would have been fine if Manny wanted more money, but to sink the fight because of cutoff dates for random blood testing..... that's just unacceptable to me. This is how life works.....
" where there is smoke, there is usually fire "
I have NEVER heard of an athlete from any sport objecting to steroid testing without raising su****ions, so go easy on some of the posters who are having a hard time reconciling this bro

Honestly, it makes me laugh to think that some loser, sitting in his mom's basement, thinks he knows more about promoting a fight and making money than a man who has been DEEP in the business for 40 years. Arum knows how much money a fight with PBF will make. He also knows that there will be a re-match clause. This would be a competitive fight (despite what some of the so-called experts here would have you believe), and the re-match would make just as much money as the first fight. Two Mayweather-Pacquiao fights would earn Arum more money than 3 or 4 Pacquiao v whomever fights. Also, this notion of Arum losing his "cash cow" is so utterly ridiculous. Pacquiao is 32, and nearing the end of his career. He likely has 3-5 fights left at the most. He is a household name, and he will make money regardless of the outcome. This "cash cow" argument could be applied to someone up and coming like Tim Bradley. Guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao aren't going to stop producing money as a result of a loss to the other best fighter in the game. I just saw a show that ACTUALLY did some research. In the last year, between fights and endorsements, Pacquiao made $46 million. Mayweather made $62 million. So please just shut up about how little or much these guys make, and how much they deserve in a fight. They are the two biggest names in the sport. Equally.
Yep, obviously Arum desperately wants this fight. He has been the consumate diplomat. Not only did he leave the door open for Mayweather, but he also left out the welcome mat.

It's just that he is known to be a lying ****bag, and he publicly stated that GBP was negotiating with Mayweather.

We do NOT have all the facts on this one, you can trust me on that.

This fight needs to happen, and if it doesn't then both Pacquiao and Mayweather are equally to blame.
Well, to tell you the truth I still have absolutely no idea as to why this fight hasn't happened already. We should actually be discussing the result right now, rather than debating reasons why the fight didn't happen.

Why did Team Pac suddenly accept those utterly ridiculous terms?
You know..... the terms that scuttled the fight during the first negotiations.

50/50 and a 14-day cutoff were more than reasonable, so I blame Manny.

It's just that Mayweather, as usual, comes across like he has this huge carrot stuck up his ass. He is a narcissistic Prima Donna when it comes to negotiating, and his silence is un-natural.

There is much more to this than meets the eye bro, I am sure that we do not yet have the whole picture here. I understand the Roger issue, but I don't think thats the whole story either.

Did Pacquiao refuse to fight with a 14 day cutoff and a 50/50 purse split?

In december of 09 Manny was ready to sign, everything was good to go, then Mayweather out of nowhere says no. I wont fight Manny until he has some Blood tests (that the NSAC doesn't even require) taken. Manny said that's ****** but I'll take them anyway. I'm just not going to take them withing 24 days of the fight. Mayweather says no. I'll only fight you if you do it 14 days. Manny says 14 days is not going to happen but just so you feel better I'll go to 18 days. Mayweathers bitchass still said no. Manny was ready to go and Floyd backed out like he always does. Manny is the cleanest fighter in the sport. There's no way 2 and a half weeks of steroids is going to do anything for your body. It will do absolutely nothing for you but kill your stamina. I respect Floyd's skill but his reasons for not fighting the top fighters are absolutely ridiculous.

That doesn't make pac a coward,he refused to let Mayweather be the boss. I'm a fan of both guys and neither are cowards, they just got huge ego's.
