This is a great "chess" move by Team Mayweather.

A few of you would know already that Al Haymon advises both Mayweather and P. Williams.

A fight with P. Williams is just as risky one with Mayweather to Pacquaio.

The fans would much prefer Pacquaio to fight with P. Williams rather than Cotto / ****rito.

This corners Team Pacquaio, as they would either have to fight P. Williams or most likely duck him to rematch Cotto or fight ****rito which wouldn't look good in the fans eyes.

I'm sensing Arum sent over to Mayweather Jr a bogus / unfair offer. (this refers back to that recent thread of Bob Arum's "Done Deal")

Now, I wanna see Arum's move.

He's most likely going to amend the contract offer he sent - I have a feeling Mayweather Jr vs Pacquiao is definitely gonna happen now.

    Peace
Sorry bro. Arum and team Pacquiao don't give two ****s about the fans, they're looking out for their best interest. Williams move down to 147 has no effect on team Pacquiao's decision.

paul would take an asswhupping at 147 from pac might even get stop if pac can reach his chin constantly.paul has not been at 47 in 2 years and didn't look good his last fight.look slow and tired from coming in light trying to prove he could make still make 47 if he wanted to.he can't beat floyd or pac they both bruise his pride and ego in their on way. smart money on pac f%ck what people talk.only clear advantage aul got is being 6'2 and might might have slight edge in workrate. that ai'nt enough for me to believe in him he can win but i can't get mad at paul try an get that money

I would rather see Pacquiao-Williams than Pacquiao-Cotto again but I doubt it will happen

his promoter has a point about cotto, its a pointless fight whatever the weight. but williams should be fighting martinez seen as tho alot of people think he lost last time.

Fantasy fight is Hearns vs Pacman at 147. Williams vs Pacman would be next best thing.

Sounds like a good move to me. You sound as if you think Martinez is a tougher match for Paul, than Pac, is that accurate.
It's a fight that isn't going to happen. It's ridiculous to think a guy who has been fighting at middleweight should get a fight with a small welterweight, no matter what the p4p rankings. Paul would not get much credit, he wins people say he should, he loses Paul is an overrated bum. What the hell would be the point?

He has a fight with Sergio Martinez, the middleweight champion, and a guy he already holds a win over, ready to go, and he is chasing after Mayweather and Pacquiao? That's ridiculous.

I'd love to see this one. It would be so weird. It'll be the Twilight Zone of boxing.

By the way, screw you Mayweather for being a shameless ***** yet again.
