I find it extremely odd how this guy went 57 bouts without gracing the oldest, and most respected belts in the sport. He seems content with facing belt-less Yanks with inflated records like Brock and Austin instead of becoming undisputed. Why is this?
The only time he fought for a WBC belt was in a fictional movie, and that bout was ruled a no contest.
Just looking at that clip for 2 seconds, I made up my mind.
only when wlad and vitali retire will we find out how strong this heavyweight division really is or was (if some of the fighters they beat are still top 10)
right now panda feels theyre not being tested, at least 90% of these guys' opponents are fat and slow but thats not the klitschko's fault either
the two guys actually in shape (haye and adamek) are former cruiserweights and light heavyweights and none of them have actively tried to make a fight with the klitschkos

In reality he has only touched one of the 3 major belts(IBF). Why didnt he go after the WBC from 2004-2008?
Don't invent things. Vitali retired end of 2005 (Nov 2005), announced his comeback 1 year later (Jan 2007) and delayed it until 2008.
So it's not 2004-2008 but more like 2006/2007-2007.
In this time Maskaev won the WBC title and for 1.5 years refused to face anyone except Okhello Peter (18-4) and then lost the title to Sam Pater who then was immediately challenged by the RETURNING Vitali Klitschko.
Wlad should have received the WBA title after he defeated Ruslan Chagaev.
So in reality, he has all the titles except the WBC, which is held by his brother.
Yes, and only a moron can't see this. Wlad by all means should be the WBA champion. David Haye is a paper champion of the finest variety, and would get his face smashed inside out if he ever grew a pair of balls and fought Wladimir. Fuggin' David Haye needs to go away.
No Wlad is not the only one. There have been a few fighters who have won ring belts and not held the WBC or WBA title. Hell I Ivan Calderon is a ring champ who has only held the WBO title.

who cares?
Ring belts is what counts
Wlad has that
Haye has a vagina with massively swollen ****

Yeah, the thing that doesn't add up is that Mike Tyson didn't have a brother Manuel Tyson with whom he wanted to share the belt-pie at the same time.
It still doesnt explain why he chose to go after beltless-bums with inflated records. When you look at the big picture, there is an enormous void from 2000-2010 where the #1 HW never touched a WBC or WBA belt.
Wlad couldve went after the green belt while leaving the WBA for Vitali. At least then hed have a majority of the big 3. He seems to have more excuses than belts methinks.
