ross greenburg says no to klitschko-povetkin

There are no set television plans for the fight in the United States, but HBO's Ross Greenburg told ESPN.com that the network, which has televised numerous Klitschko fights and also aired Povetkin-Chambers, has no plans to buy the fight.

Wlad fights his mandatory and two olympic gold medalist will fight for the Heavyweight Championship of the world.

      HBO should take this fight.

But if HBO will not show it, i believe Showtime will take it on 18the of September.

I can see why HBO would hesitate after the Wladimir-Ibragimov/Chambers fights, but still - there are the world HW titles at stake. Show that ****!

But Chambers is? More Americans know about the Klitschkos then they know about Chambers, and HBO bought Chambers-Povetkin...Do they have a problem with Wlad or something? Perhaps they think he's too boring or something, I don't know...

I suppose what Greenburg is saying is "no" to every single heavyweight fight aside from Klitschko-Haye.

Another great example of how David Haye is ruining the sport. Now, as a result of his cowardice, HBO is willing to abandon the division altogether because they can't get this ***** to take the fight that everyone wants to see.

I can't really blame HBO for backing away from this fight either. Unless it is Wlad V Haye or a decent American fighter(which at the moment there are none) the American public won't be tuning in. ESPN Classic should swoop this fight up, they have done it in the past.

I blame Haye. If it wasn't for Haye and the demand he created for a Klitschko fight I bet HBO would have picked this one up.

They damn sure better not televise Haye-Harrison in the USA or I will bomb their corporate office.
