It's really sort of sad to see how many so called boxing fans would rather see their fighter with the upperhand in negotiations, than to see the fight itself...
It should be split 45-45 with the winner getting the remaining 10%. Pac draws just as much fans as mayweather, so it's only right that the boxer that wins the match gets paid more
The maximum penalty for being overweight is like 2% of the overall purse or some **** like that.
Which is why I said some "absurd" number. However my point was that Pacquiao had at least a valid reason to try and demand a stiffer penalty (although it was a bit over the top like I previously mentioned) since PBF recently came in over the agreed upon contractual weight limit in his previous fight. Whereas PBF really doesn't have any reason, except for pure speculation from his often delusional father, to demand OSDT. I can understand asking for the tests against SSM, but not against Pacquiao.
And it's also not the first time OSDT has been demaded (Tyson-Holyfield).
I'm well aware PBF isn't the first to demand extra testing. But you also have to take into account how long boxing has been around and the number of times such things (extra testing) has ever been demanded, which is hardly ever.

Really sad...Not surprising though.
I know right... You would think that some of these people are actually getting some sort of piece by how vehemently they try to defend the notion of PBF getting the lion's share of the money. They fail to realize that if PBF does indeed have his way, this fight will most likely never materialize which would deprive the boxing world of a potential historical fight.

Agreed.
I don't see what the big deal is with the penalty. As long as Floyd don't cheat the scales he wont have to pay the fine. Same applies to manny. OSDT makes sense for shane because he was an admitted PED user. LOL!

Roach mentioned that his former boxing fighters Justin Fortune and James Toney were known to have used steroids.
