Comments Thread For: Pacquiao Still Thinks Mayweather is "Scared To Fight"

In a recent interview with The Freeman, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao continued to question Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s desire to fight him. The Filipino champion made one thing clear, unless there is a 50/50 split on the money, the fight will not happen. As long as there is a 50/50 split on money, Pacquiao doesn't see an issue with a deal being finalized. There has been talk that Mayweather is requesting a bigger percentage of the money, with rumors of a 60-40 demand in his favor.

Pac needs to back up his mouth with action! He needs to shut the hell up already....He thinks everybody is ****** (or Filipino).

Pac and Floyd were on even terms BEFORE the Cottey and Shane fight but after the fight ...we all saw who had the bigger draw power and now Floyd deserves the 60%.
Lets not all forget that Flod had already said if Pac does not take the first opportunity it wont be so easy the second time.

I mean Floyd did just about everything Pac wanted as far as demands in the first fight....now he has no reason to.

Pac needs to stop talking and get to action.

If he ends up fighting Margarito, will Pac give Margarito 50 percent of the money? The answer is absolutely not. Margarito doesn't deserve a 50 percent split any more than Pac. If Pac makes the ****** mistake of turning this fight down for a second time, he will swallow his pride in six months and say 'I will take 45 percent of the revenue' just as he came back this time saying he would agree to the 14-day cutoff date after refusing to agree to it before because of pride. By this time next year, Pac will be begging Mayweather to figth him the same way Mosley did for three years after turning the fight down.

Im sure Freddie and Bob Arum are gonna try for a couple more weeks, put more press releases out (Where is the gag order) about not fighting if they dont get there demands, but eventually will fold because he knows who the PPV king is.

Are you implying that Filipino people are ******? That's news to me. I bet if you checked the percentages, chances are the Filipino's have a good percentage on having decent to well paying jobs/careers.

And let's not get things mixed up here. Pacquiao is not the person who keeps moving the goal post. If there weren't any ludicrous OSDT demands to begin with, as in any other fight, this fight would have probably happened already.

Well, Pacquiao seems to be the one refusing every offer. So I don't know if he is in the right place to be saying someone is afraid to fight.

Floyd is too Hesistant to put it all out on the line.

Floyd is just TOO DAMN hesistant to put it all out on the line. He's making more demands on PAC than he's ever did with any boxer in his entire life. Something about this little Filipino scares FLOYD. PAC is making more effort to making the MEGA FIGHT now while FLOYD is contemplating.
