are you really trying to defend a 23 year old guy trying to USE a older fighter as a stepping stone when he has other good young talented fighters in his division who are also title holders, we are going by what Con...I mean Khan said out of his own mouth, which was "He wants Maidana next" and how he doesn't plan on leaving the 140 division until he unify the titles, so basically for Khan it is either fight guys who are on the downside of their careers instead of other young fighters in his division that can potential BEAT HIM

People tend to change the context of the Barrera fight, Khan was a 21 year old kid coming off a brutal ko loss against a 35 year old legend in what was seen as a 50/50 fight
