Eubank could of been as good as he wanted to be, after the Watson re-match I thought he was unbeatable.. but unfortunately he lost his instinct after that tragedy
Its true that Eubank could of been "the best of the best" had it not been for the Watson experience, before the Benn fight even though Eubank had won 24 out of 24 nobody knew just how good he really was but that was the first of 24 world title bouts. Its a shame that he didnt clear out the division and then move up to lightheavy and do the same, because he could of if he really wanted to!
Ronnie Davies says that Eubank could of been the best Light-Heavyweight ever because he was always weight-drained to make Middleweight and Super-Middleweight, and he says it seriously. Apparently Eubank had beaten Michael Moorer as an amateur and was beating Dennis Andries in the gym, and they were the Light-Heavyweight champs when Eubank was climbing the ranks as a Middleweight starving himself (and over-training before a fight to make the weight).
