Its comical when you listen to it. Everybody who thinks that Manny is on Floyd's level always points to the De La Hoya and Hatton fight as a basis of comparison. Saying that since Floyd went the distance with de la hoya and 10 rds with Hatton then Manny can pose those same threats. However, when you look at the common opponent that manny had problems with, JMM and use the same analogy its and unfair comparison because JMM moved up 2 weight classes.

Personally im sick and tired of hearing how Floyd ducked this one and that one, im just curious to know, out of all the people that Floyd has been accused of ducking how many of them weren't associated with Bob Arum or his advisor Al Haymon. (Makes a difference) However when you hear Freddie Roach admit that he refused Mosley for Pacquiao because in his words " Your not De La Hoya and your 2 good". That kinda sounds like ducking to me. After he trained de la hoya for the mayweather fight Freddie Roach went on record and said that Oscar couldnt pull the trigger, so what does he do, he ask's De la hoya to move down to ww (a division he didn't fight at in over 10 years). To me that sounds like taking the easy fight.

I love Pacquiao's fighting style and its very appeasing and crowd pleasing, but name one welterweight he fought that was in the top 5 when he fought them at WW. Cotto doesn't count because he fought him at 145lbs and De la hoya doesn't count either because he wasn't even ranked in any division at the time they fought. You can make a longer list of guys that pacquiao should've fought than mayweather's list. I can honestly say that Miguel Cotto and Margarito are the only 2 names that Mayweather couldve or shouldve fought, but when you look back at the history between him and there promoters did anybody ever think those 2 fights would happen.

Since Manny moved up in weight he's been handpicking beat or shot opponents, guys that have to lose an incredible amount of weight (like Morales the 2nd time or De La hoya) or guys that looked shot or loss there previous fights, like Hatton and Clottey. I give him credit for moving up in weight and beating bigger guys, but im not sucking his d;ck for it. He had a pit stop at 135lbs, when Juan Diaz was ruling that division and even called him out, he couldve fought nate Campbell, or at 140, timothy bradley or kendall holt **** even Ricardo Torres. Like manny avoids these fights and people say it doesnt make business sense or Manny's more about legacy than Money, but he forces Clottey to take a 90-10 purse split, after his legacy is already secure. I agree with sr. here, Mayweather should be fighter of the decade not manny but you can't go wrong with either one, but one is undefeated the other has only fought 3 guys at their respective weight classes as he moved up. (Diaz, Hatton, and CLottey) Over hyped
that's real walkie talkie! well said my man..

Do you know the meaning of significance , this fight is bigger than all you listed this fight will be hyped to make all others pale , it started with you saying Floyd beating Pac is the same as Tarver beating Jones , you didnt answer the question is Tarver Floyds level and will Pac end up an easy beat ,,,, , at least 15 yrs following you say lol Im 55 and been involved with the sport since I was 12 ,, I doubt your past 25 .

There is no offer to accept. Pacquiao has to take random testing upto the day of the weigh-in or He is the biggest ***** in boxing.
Manny could have also said that his offer of 4 months ago is off the table and now he wants even more because the doctors are agreeing with him that they shouldn't take blood from a fight at less than 2 weeks.... actually more...... but of course, you don't care about what the doctors think.

Anyways, you can't see what Manny is doing. He is trying to negotiate. Floyd might come back with 5 days and at the end it may end up being 8 to 10 days plus post fight plus random urine testing.

Does Floyd vs Marquez sound familiar? Roach was smart with this one. Might as well negotiate now instead of a few days before the fight because Mayweather wants to get an extra advantage like he did against Marquez who isn't even a welterweight. ..... but I guess whatever Floyd did or does is OK with you. Right?

No boxing will give credit to Floyd for not fighting top quality fighters in his weight division for a decade. Floyd has one loss against Castillo (first fight). He clearly lost that fight. That's why he is paranoid of facing super pressure fighters in Manny Pacquaio. All the true fighters know to.

So if Pac is a joke what are you waiting for?Fight him!
Pac destroyed Hatton in 2 in his weight division, but Floyd had to go 10 rounds with a limited slugger,so i don't get the point about Floyd beating Marquez as a welterweight.
Floyd sr you are a joke of trainer. Please don't compare yourself anymore with the likes of Cus D'Amato Ray Arcel or Steward.Seriously you are a joke!
You will pay a lot of money to Pac,because you are going to lose in the court of law.
1st. Floyd isn't the first fighter to ask for more test. Check your facts
2nd After Floyd knocked out UNDEFEATED Hatton at 147lbs...Pacquiao took him back down to 140lbs to beat him after Hatton looked TERRIBLE Lazcano. That china was laready broken.

Lastly, Floyd destroyed Marquez and Pac been running from him for years at any weight!!!

Aside from Mayweather Sr., being biased, he's right in thinking Floyd deserves the award.

Off of boxing ability alone...it's not even close. If they ever do fight...It will be Floyd by WIIIIIIIIDE UD of like 11 rounds to 1. You'll see...And I am betting it all too!
Getting an award has nothing to do with your skills, but rather what you did with it. Its about accomplishments idiot!

                      How?

PFFFTT. It's already been stated as fact that it was a landslide vote by the BWAA, Floyd wasn't even close.

Better tell Floyd not to take anymore "retirements" this decade if crackhead father wants it that bad.
