So many things like this happen in boxing that you never even hear about. Like Maidana said, he fought Kotelnik in Germany and Ortiz in LA. Obviously fear isn't the issue. Hopefully this pressures GBP into releasing the contract info they claim they have on this guy.

I remember last week when everyone was giving Amir Khan stick for calling Maidana out, saying that its a punk move by Khan because Maidana was "injured". Well he wasn't injured :P. I hope all those insulting Khan feel like fools.

I want Khan vs. Maidana in December, make it happen.

And all those insulting Maidana are fools. One thing is for sure, KAhn Called out Maidana when the public only knew that he suffered a back injury and could not fight(regardless of what we know NOW). And that's still a ***** move. Maidana waited in line and fought anyone , he didn't have Kahn's magic ticket that flew him to the front of the line. And For Kahn to try and drag Maidana's name through the mud, when Maidana has righteously earned his spot, makes KAhn a B!tch. Simple as that... Its safe to say that alot of people just don't like the guy based on that.

You're being a fool. First because Khan believed him to be injured when he finally said he was willing to fight him; and second, because whatever the reason for Maidana's not being available to fight, the fact is that Khan knew that he was not available to fight when he finally said that he was willing to fight him, and that when Maidana was available to fight, Khan had no interest in fighting him, even though he was his mandatory and even though the WBA had told him he'd be stripped if he didn't fight him. At that stage, he could have paid Maidana to step aside for one fight on the basis that he'd get a guaranteed shot against the Khan-Malignaggi winner - like Valuev and Haye did with Ruiz. But he didn't do that. Instead, he allowed GPB to bribe Maidana's management to step aside for three fights, not one.

The outrage would have been worse because Kahn has a long history of ducking not maidana who's a pain in the ass for GBP because he'd beat ortiz and probably would ko kahn if they fight.
