He got my respect...he was done as soon as that injury occured but kept fighting on...

He was game the whole night...even at the end when Cotto was putting it on him...

Its easy for us to say fighters aren't supposed to quit...

He got hurt while running. He deserved to get hurt. Glad to see him laid out on the floor after a liver shot.

When somebody is literally a one legged man in an ass kicking contest, and doesn't quit there is nothing overrated about that.

I understand Bully point. But, that is like Cotto not quitting when he has a cut against Clottey and Campbell quitting cuz he has a cut. We not going to go overboard for Cotto. He did what a fighter suppose to do and keep fighting.

But, as a boxer you need your legs. A lot of people use the term fighter A didn't have his legs. But, when literally you have one bum leg. And, the one thing you do well is use your legs. And, now you can't even do that and have a serious injury.

I understand if it was a cut, I understand if it was a hand injury, a shoulder injury. You don't quit. But, the most important thing in boxing is your legs. And, when you can't plant your leg to throw a shot, when the one thing you do well is use your legs, when you're limping around the ring getting beat, and you still don't quit as one legged man in an ass kicking contest. Then there is nothing overrated about that.

And, he deserves much respect, much credit, and all the praises he is getting for that.

No normal man would of continued. A lesser man would of quit. Foreman could of quit and nobody would of blamed him at all. But, he didn't he showed he is a real fighter. He is not a ***** like some where calling him last night. He is a warrior. He deserves every single praise he gets, nothing overrated on what he did. I don't think some of you guys understand how difficult it is it fight with a real leg injury.

I don't think the guy has that much heart either. Him going down on that body shot even though it was a legit one was his honorable way out of the fight. He didn't fight like a warrior. Burner is spot on about this.

                  Thats just the thing.

The only reason he even got hurt is because he was RUNNING.
Thats not heart or being a warrior.

                    Give him some props man.

His knee gave away from under him, which ended up taking away one of his key weapons (movement/footwork) and he still continued.

He was clearly losing as well but still didn't give up.

Hes not tough. Hes not rough. Hes not rugged. Hes a feather fisted runner who got hurt while running. I appreciate him not quitting though because I wanted to see Cotto KO him.
