yeah , he should have just held his manager accountable in the first place , surely most people would have understood that he was getting screwed over by his manager rather than being accused of ducking at the start

There's no evidence that Khan even knew about Maidana's back injury when he first made the offer. Considering the fact that Khan had no mobile phone or internet connection during the weeks leading up to his fight with Malignaggi, there's no way he could have known about Maidana's injury.

Either way, it was Khan that made the offer and Maidana that refused. Now that we know the injury thing was a lie, where are the accusations of Maidana ducking Khan? For Khan, it's "damned if you do, damned if you don't". If Khan didn't make the offer, he'd be damned for "ducking" Maidana. If Khan did make the offer, he'd be damned for making an offer to an "injured" person.

As for the "middle aged" thing, Khan made an offer to the much younger Katsidis first before making the offer to Casamayor. Even though it was Katsidis that refused his offer, yet again it's Khan that is being blamed for "ducking" Katsidis! This is the kind of warped logic I'd expect from hypocrites.

No matter what he does, Khan is screwed, simply because the Khan-hating hypocrites (including yourself) will never be pleased until they see him fall.

It was being reported since at least April 13 that Maidana had to pull out of the Bradley fight with a back injury. And it was widely talked about on almost every boxing website.

To claim that Khan knew nothing about it stretches credibility.

              What more do you want.

And, like Shaw was very open about how doubtful he was about the seriousness of Maidana injury.

I was very doubtful on how legit it was. And, I made post a few weeks ago that I thought he was faking and pretty much ducking.

So you can take this however you want.

But, I honestly feel that Khan would beat Maidana. Maidana is just not that good.

Khan would lose to Holt, Ortiz, Alexander, and Bradley. But, I doubt he losses to Maidana.
Khan would beat every1 you mentioned, why even mention holt the guy is crap.

It appears neither Khan nor Maidana were ducks. Interesting.

Am sure a back injury would heal at one point so the point is Maidana was indeed offered the fight, If he cannot make the time scale then fine but the fight was offered and turned down, I was one of the people who had doubts about any offer and am sure a Khan fight would have paid him more than a Bradley fight.
