Dude do you REALLY have to be reminded that at one point in time steroids where legal. Hell no one really knew about them, **** Governator of California was using them for many years.

Times have changed and so has drugs/steroids. Just ask yourself, if there is a chance to better the sport WHY wouldn't you be game for it? Is it the hate of Mayweather?

The irony, and hypocrisy if this was Pac's idea and Mayweather didn't want to OST.

Stop being so negative about testing. Forget Mayweather's name and think about the sport. Hell forget Pac's name and think about the sport and how many fighters this "NEW" standard (thanks to Mayweather) will potentially keep from juicing or at least scare them from trying to juice. THE SYSTEM has already failed. FACT. Time for a change.

It's unfortunate that some fans keep trying the "Floyd should petition the Commission" argument.

It is clear that boxing commissions, as government organizations, drag their feet and are mired in bureaucracy. The NSAC has been considering this topic since September , 2008. Nearly 2 years. ...that is a full year before Floyd, Sr spoke about Pacquiao.

Who can wait for the NSAC to poop or get off the pot? Fighters and promoters can move more quickly.

Mike Tyson demanded enhanced testing. Mike Tyson was a great fighter.

Proof Floyd is in the right, already the boxing world is responding to his call for better testing. Why cant Pac just support better testing in the sport, does he really want to set himself as an enemy to cleaning up the sport?

NO, fool. hatton moved up on his own accord b.c he wanted to fight floyd for floyds title. nice try.

and marquez challenege floyd at that weight class. floyd didnt make JMM or hatton move up, it was their choice.

PAC shouldn't ever fight in Vegas again because the commission rather listen to some idiot who wants to make his own rules and not let them do their job which they know they are doing very well. PAC should only fight in Texas from now on. F U C K vegas. Floyd you are scared as hell. If PAC does fight you, expect getting KTFO.

it's good to know nsac is open to changes for better testing. if only floyd directed his concerns to the commission he'll realize they're willing to sit down with him and listen. he would've been right to declare he wants to clean the sport of boxing and everybody would have applauded him for his good intentions. but to impose his will only to his would-be opponents is not at all laudable...in fact it's a bit disgraceful because he's just using the issue as some sort of mind games against his opponent imo. it's all good if he's looking to protect himself but rules are rules and you have to abide by it. even if the rules are weak that doesn't give you any right to create one especially if it only benefits your selfish intention. i know floyd fans will say pac himself demanded an atrocious amount if floyd goes over weight limit and i agree that is ridiculous as well. whether pac based it on the fact that floyd went overweight against jmm...still the $10M penalty doesn't make sense. to sum it all...both have erred. both acted like prima donnas. you can't despise one and praise the other...unless you're nothing but a shameless nuthugger.

This is a waste of time. Blood testing is just not applicable in boxing. It can weaken a boxer who is already dehydrated.
