There is a difference between HOF and ATG. Guys like Castillo and Corrales aren't usually considered ATGs, but are almost certain to make the HOF. So it is true that Floyd hasn't really beaten a prime ATG, but he has beaten a decent number of prime HOF candidates (probably more than Pacquiao has).

Mayweather since 10-03-1998, (the Genero Hernandez fight) has fought 24 opponants with combined records of 892 wins and only 85 losses. And he BEAT all of them!!! IMPRESSIVE

marquez was 30 years old & fighting at 126 when pac fought him in 2004. marquez only had 2 loses, both questionable. he was in his absolute peak prime when they had that FOTY cadidate fight that ended in a draw.

in 08 he had 2 gruesome wars vs pacquiao & casamayor. at 130 & 135. then in 09 he fought another war vs diaz. then he fought floyd at welterweight.

3 straight wars before fighting a undefeated welterweight at welterweight when you are 36 years old had 56 fights & a career featherweight, yet you are trying to say he's prime?

            keep fooling yourself *****.

barerra was 29 years old, p4p consensus 3#, & was riding a 8 fight winning streak when pac beat him. then after pac beat him, he went on a 6 fight winning streak.

            he was absolutely prime.

its funny how the floyd fans can't answer the question.

                mab was prime.

so was marquez who was 30 & at 126 who was p4p top 10.

so was cotto who beat jennings & top 10 welterweight cotto when pac beat him

& so was hatton who beat lazcano & malignaggi before pac beat him.

I give Pac credit for the first Barrera win, yes he did "beat" Marquez twice, but many people thought he lost both fights.

Cotto is the Vacant Belt King....But I will give Manny Credit for the Cotto win, he didnt look that great against Clottey and many people thought Clottey won. I dont agree with the catchweight for the title shyt, but Cotto got suckered by Arum and Team Pac for a pay day.

In no way was Hatton in his Prime when Manny fought him. Mayweather fought a PRIME Hatton who was Undefeated and was Ranked #5 on the P4P List.

He lost to an Eric Morales on the decline whom many would describe as washed up.

Corrales & Castillo arent HOF fighters? Hatton isnt a HOF fighter?

All in their primes.....2 of them Undefeated and were supposed to be bigger and stronger!

We can spin this Question.......Who has fought more washed up fighters and fighters on the decline?

Who has been punished more in their career?

Who has been knocked out more?

Who took longer to learn to throw a right hand?
