lol since when is it okay to get knocked out by Jones, then beaten two more times, then fight a bunch of tomato cans and go to war with Morales two more times and be considered in your prime? Its like saying the Ward trilogy had no effect on Gatti, or the Vazquez trilogy had no effect on R Marquez...

My analysis (from a non ****rider point of view): Floyd only fought one great fighter in their prime (Castillo), and Pacquiao also fought one (Marquez), which he fought to a draw. For those who don't think Castillo is a great fighter, consider this. People seem to be blinded by his early and late career and forget about his prime years. Heck, he even beat Ngoudjo while he was blown up and struggling to make 140. In his prime he upset Johnston and beat Casamayor and Chico (let's face it, in the first fight he would have won if Chico didn't spit out his mouthpiece to recover).

BOTH had opportunities to fight great fighters in their prime but didn't. Floyd could have fought Casamayor, Spadafora, Malignaggi, etc. and Pacquiao could have fought Soto, Guzman and Raheem. I reeeally think Guzman would have had a good chance of beating Pac, and same goes for Casamayor against Floyd.

ive mention it already that there are boxers in the hall of fame that dont deserve to be there.

just because some got in that dont deserve it, that doesnt mean we should all let everybody in that doesnt deserve to be in because some boxers who didnt deserve to get in got in.

You could consider Castillo one if you want, though. In a way I do. People seem to be blinded by his early and late career and forget about his prime years. he fought barerra who was p4p 3# & was on a 8 fight winning streak before pac & a 6 fight winning streak after pac. barerra didnt get knocked out by junior jones. he was disqualified because his corner came in the ring. then he got decisioned in the rematch.

Pac could have fougth soto? humberto soto? guzman? raheem? raheem was at 135 while pac was still fighting at 130. If pac fought & beat all those guys, could you even brag about them?

im even gonna defend floyd from the malignaggi remark. malignaggi? are you ****ing kidding me?

None of those boxers you just mentioned for both pac & floyd can be classified as great hall of fame fighters. NONE. casamayor was the best out of that bunch & he falls short of hall of fame.

You are incapable of comprehending people.

"He's a great fighter because he made some journalist's list, based on hype and conjecture. I can't prove my point that he was a great fighter because of who he beat, so I'll refer to a nonsensical list to do it for me."

When you people refer to these pound for pound lists and can't articulate on why someone was a great fighter, it really shows your lack of knowledge on the matter.

I'm out. You can't debate with people who are incapable of debating.

                    Adios.

I have stated several times in the past that boxing HOF is a joke with the amount of guys in there that don't belong. For those guys (Gatti, Corrales, Castillo) to make it in there just confirms it.

Why open the flood gates and make having the term "HOF status" next to a boxers name less meaningful? But good job in ducking my question coward.
