That said, I would love to see Cotto - Pacquiao II. I think a non-weight drained Cotto would fare much better. We saw how well he boxed with Pac during the early rounds. He just couldn't sustain it and his ability to take a punch was severely drained.

Then that winner could fight Mayweather, perhaps?

I agree with your Cotto/Pacquiao II assessment, but the only one who'll fight Mayweather would be Cotto because he'll accept the testing and take less money. Mayweather/Pacquiao will NEVER happen.

I agree and on a side note, Foreman is a very under appreciated boxer, his movement is superb, he doesn't sit on his punches but he'll throw a 1-2 slide out go left, immediately reverse his footwork and go right, he's no walk in the park. Now, b/c Foreman doesn't sit on his punches, I don't see him hurting or for that matter, staying toe-to-toe with Cotto in this upcoming bout. It's difficult to predict a winner, I understand Cotto is being favored by most, including this website, but this one is tough to call. Can Cotto hurt Foreman at 154? Can Cotto neutralize Foreman's movement? These are important questions to ask yourself. I'm leaning towards Foreman by decision, but I haven't made my mind up just yet...

It's funny, Marg fans seem to want Cotto to fight him again. Let Cotto go his merry way, it's not the first time someone has lost, this sport is tough. Cotto's legacy will be fine, he's still challenging himself, and he's still a fan favorite.
