rigo is like a child in a custody battle. rigo would do well with anyone, but with roach he'd get farther and faster because of roach's boxing celebrity status.

          wow 243-4? Thats amazing

But i dont get why he left, because Roach said hes not ready? Roach is looking out for his best interest so i dont understand why he would leave the best coach on the planet because he said hes not ready

Rigo is so precise, he shouldn't have left roach.

He's such an incredible counter puncher but at the top level he can be outworked because it seems like he only throws counter punches that he is 100% certain he'll land. I don't think I've seen him throw a measureing punch.

              Great Feints though.

I know Freddie Roach is a good trainer, but who are all these so-called "world conqueror's" he's produced??

Roach is a pretty arrogant guy, I doubt he take Rigo back. Rigo is a great talent, he turned pro a little too late IMO.

I don't think Freddie would help him much. Rigo doesn't fit into Freddie's scheme of doing things. Sure, he doesn't coach every fighter the same but all of them share a common theme, offensive oriented.

                      Is Rigo offensive oriented?

Now look at Roger. What does he specialize with? Wouldn't Rigo fit more into Roger's scheme than Freddie's scheme?

Being with Roger won't catapult him to overhype as fast as he would with Freddie but never the less. He will get there as long as he is dedicated.
