Let's think about. Lets say I offer to buy your car for $10,000 three months ago. You refuse for whatever reason. I then say I am no longer willing to offer the $10,000, but I am willing to offer $5000. You can't come back and say three months later 'I accept you $10,000 offer' and expect me to buy it because the offer is now $5000. You can accept the $5000 or sell it to someone else. Either way, you lose because you were the dumbass who turned down the $10,000 offer. Now that the car has decreased in value, you have to accept whatever you can get for it.
The same thing applies in this situation. Mayweather's bargaining power has increased and Pac's has decreased, so therefore, they are not negotiating on the same terms they were six months ago. You can delude yourself into believing that Pac is still in the driver's seat, but the only people who will believe that are you, Ronnie Nathanielz and the *******s on this site. If Pac and his team believed it, they wouldn't be trying to negotiate a 14-day window to cut off testing. They would stick to their original position.

Floyd and his few number of knockouts.
PAC'S TKO win over COTTO was more impressive and entertaining than FLOYD'S win over COTTO. FLOYD had more action fights in the late 90's and the early 2000's. No wonder why people say he's boring now.

And bro, if you are a betting man, do not let Freddie's "no legs at all" comment affect the way that you will judge the outcome of the fight.
As always, go with your own opinion. Go with what you saw in the Mosley fight, because that will be more accurate than Freddie's assessment.
Freddie is still my boy, and he has a reason for saying what he said.....
but for quite some time now Freddie Roach cannot be relied upon to make an unbiased comment when it comes to Manny.
It's not actually a bad thing, you would expect the same from your trainer.
Just do not rely on Roach for any information unless it is concerning boxing in general, or any fighter that is not about to get in the ring with Manny.
The lines have become blurred because of their friendship. Freddie is now adviser/trainer/manager/mentor/promoter. See it for what it is.

In the later rounds he was more aggressive than usual to make a more exciting fight. He had the fight totally under control, and he went with his instincts..... but this is what really happened.....
Floyd took away the only advantage that Shane had in that fight from the very second the bell rang for round one. Mayweather had an edge in speed, skills, ring IQ, and he about matched Mosley in experience. Shane had a proven edge in power, heart, and chin.
I expected that Shane would seriously take the fight to Floyd right from the first bell. I expected that Floyd would be needing to use TONNES of slick footwork and right-hand leads just to keep Shane off him, and that establishing the perimeter could take 3 rounds at least.
What did Floyd do? He took away every advantage that Shane had by meeting him in the middle of the ring right from the first bell. He took a risk early and tried to negate Shane's aggression and power by taking the fight to him, in an attempt to establish the perimeter early so that the difference in the fight would come down to technical skills.
Mayweather knew that he had time to recover and adjust if things didn't go to plan early, and he knew that once he had Shane where he wanted him that the fight would be much easier.
It was a great gameplan, he just overplayed it.
Floyd had Shanes respect by round two, and he knew that Mosley was not gonna try to walk through him, so he should have boxed him from that point on. The sooner it became a contest of skills, the sooner that Mayweather could start racking up the rounds.
It was a mistake to continue to mess with Shane flat-footed at that point in the fight.
People who say that Shane gassed crack me up.
If you go in with Mayweather and gas by round 3, then I don't care who you are, you are gonna get KTFO !! And, Shane did not look gassed in round 6, 7, 8, that I watched on replay at my friend's house about 3 weeks ago.
Watch Floyd's feet 30 seconds before Shane connected in round two, then watch Floyd's feet from the bell at the start of round three THAT, is what changed in round three, NOT Mosley gassing.
Stick to wrestling guys.

Maybe Alexander? or Canelo?
I'm not sure we are gonna have to wait for the answers to some up-coming questions.
Bradley, Alexander, Khan, Canelo, Ward, Dirrell, Lopez, Williams, Berto, Dawson, just to name a few.....
some of these guys have been around longer than others, and they have varying levels of mainstream exposure..... but there are still, nothing but questions hanging over all of these guys.
Anything could happen in the next two years.
What a great question man.
Damn you, no sleep for me tonight

Pac went close to the 14 while floyd is moving away from it. Loser!
Floyd is just TOO DAMN hesistant to put it all out on the line. He's making more demands on PAC than he's ever did with any boxer in his entire life. Something about this little Filipino dude scares FLOYD. PAC is making more effort to making the MEGA FIGHT now while FLOYD is contemplating.

They’re just simply ****** and never fought their enenmies!!!!! The only history they have is slavery caused by cowardice within their race and genes!!!! This is the only explanation why Floyd Jr never fought a good fight in 40 fights!!!! He is just so coward!!!! I thought Mohammad Ali and other black boxing greats has proven the greatness of blacks

I know that actually winning the fight helped, but I would have thought that Mayweather would have had enough exposure at that stage to make more of an impact PPV-wise even before the Hoya fight.
Maybe his style is not very popular with casual fans?
I hope that's not the reason why.....
its gonna be a sad day for our sport when people would prefer to rent a Rocky IV DVD, or watch Gatti replays (RIP Arturo bro), than watch one of the most technically proficient fighters to ever grace the sport.
