The option was there to do blood testing up to the day of the fight, though.
Just because they stopped blood testing 18 days before, doesn't mean they had to.
So Floyd wasn't lying at all.

Mayweather was in talks to fight Manny Pacquiao on March 13. The two fighters could not agree on the contract clause for random drug tests. Pacquiao agreed to take an unlimited amount of urine tests and random bloods tests until 24 days before the fight. Mayweather wanted blood tests until 14 days before the fight. Talks broke off and Pacquiao signed to fight Joshua Clottey.
Floyd's ORIGINAL demand was right up until the fight. If you remember , the 14 day offer was a LATER compromise offer that was a "let's split it down the middle" approach when they were headed to mediation.
Floyd wanted right up until the fight (1 day). Pac wanted 30 days. Those were the original offers. The later compromise offers were Floyd at 14 days, and Pac at 24 days.
So, no... I do not have amnesia. The memory is working fine. Thanks.
