So beating an ordinary fighter like Clottey who was coming off a loss to Miguel Cotto & beating a cheating Margarito who was just knocked out by Mosley and was coming off a year suspenion gets you points?

You dont judge boxers when they had off nights. Dont kid yourself Cotto, clottey and Margarito arent the players in Pacs division.
For all their wins Cotto, margarito are also high points scorers. They are the names in boxing after, the ones Floyd ducke.d

pacquiao fans will be full of excuses saying manny was "weak" from the blood tests or was distracted because he is a politican now to be honest when floyd beats him most of these *******s will go away as their are fans of pacquiao not boxing

I hope they dont. The sport of boxing needs all these so called *******s and *****s to become boxing fans. All hard core boxing fans started as casual boxing fans, just like you and me.

Some of these Pac and floyd fans would become the hardcore fans one day if we dont chase them away.

We may be die hard pac fans, but the majority of us surely would give Floyd his credit if he happens to beat Manny. Not sure whether Floyds fans would do the same though.

agreed! the majority of manny fans dont really hate floyd, we just hate how he is acting now. unlike manny haters, they hate manny regardless, for no reasons at all.

As for OPs topic, there will always be an excuse, Floyd is the villain and people don't like Villains. So no most of them won't, as for boxing fans who are a fan of the sport and not a certain boxer I'm sure all of us would give Floyd his due. If he beats Pacquiao he deserves it.
