TOO LATE FOR THAT NOW PAC..he shouldve conceded to that the first time..dont come crawling back with that **** now, .knowing damn well Floyd isnt gonna accept that offer now.
As for me I'm plain sick of this horse S**** ...I already said this earlier but floyd needs to go explain to NSAC about testing so they would probebly would start testing randomly etc..is it only in mayweather fights that random test r allowed then what about the other fighters in boxing they don't get treated the same!!!???
Newsflash: The USADA, on behalf of the team requesting the testing, has already sat down with the NSAC and explained their protocol in an effort to get them to implement more stringent testing. So please dead this tiring mantra about the NSAC. Second, no other boxers aren't getting random tests like Floyd because we the fans - and the fighters - want to continue to pretend his request is something ridiculous. Maybe if there is enough support then we might see changes. Maybe if the fans start holding their fighters accountable. Maybe if they start holding promoters accountable. The journey of a thousand miles began some time ago so maybe it's time the fans flex a little muscle. Maybe.
To bad for Pac fans because Mayweather already offered this proposal and Pac didn't except it Floyd is not a dumbass he is not going to let Pac off the hook that easy by him agreeing to something he already offered the times have changed now Pac full OST and no cutoff date take it or leave it because May is going to make his money with or without Pac
in other words.....he never really had the heart to fight packy!
The whole 14 day thing has been denied and called fake by Arum and Koncz the in the past weeks, dont know why these random stories about it keep popping up.
What seems to be very strange about this report is, throughout the first negotiations, a 14 day cutoff time frame for the OST, was suggested by Mr. Mayweather but not accepted by Mr. Pacquiao for various reasons. Now that Mr. Mayweather has dominated Mr. Mosley, and Mr. Pacquiao really has no other boxer to fight that is PPV worthy or has generated a high public interest, it's being reported that he's now willing to accept the 14 day cutoff.
I really believe that this is a PR move from Top Rank, so that the fans will continue to go back and forth amongst each other and point fingers at either fighter if the fight isn't made. As a promoter, Mr. Arum knows that the fight is only going to be a historic event if the fans like you and myself keep going back and forth and make the anticipation of the event worth while.
If everyone can read between the lines they will understand these key factors that may play out and have a big affect on the fight not being made:
1. Mr. Arum has stated that this time around, the two parties will be "very cautious", not to negotiate through the media. Why are we getting informed about certain negotiation topics "supposedly"?
2. There has been NO reports of negotiations from either GBP or Mayweather Promotions.
3. If the 14 day cutoff was a problem before, why isn't it a problem now?
4. Mr. Mayweather was asked right after the fight from Larry Merchant (HBO), if there could be a compromise in the testing, can the fight be made, and Mr. Mayweather didn't answer yes to that question but simply said that "if Mr. Pacquiao agrees to the testing they can make the fight happen, and if not then there will be no fight".
5. Mr. Mayweather at this time is the only fighter that has a guarenteed $20 million purse each fight for the next 5 fights. Which makes it more of a benefit for Mr. Pacquiao to try and make this fight happen, because he can only get his guarenteed $6 million purse if he can continue either filling arenas or his PPV numbers can continue exceeding 1m buys.
6. If Mr. Mayweather has made over $30 million for the Mayweather-Marquez fight, has made close to $45 million for the Mayweather-Mosley fight, and as I stated before, that he is guarenteed a $20 million purse each time he laces up. no matter whom the opponent is, why do he really need the fight with Mr. Pacquiao? (I can answer that, he needs it to show everyone that he really can beat Mr. Pacquiao nothing else)
7. Why would Mr. Mayweather agree to a 14 day cutoff now, since Mr. Mosley and Mr. Mayweather took the testing all the way up to the fight? Keep in mind that USADA or WADA, within their procedures will not cutoff testing within a 14 day time frame, so that an athlete can "make sure that they are not weak" before a sports event. If they did that, then it would defeat the purpose of possibly catching either participant using illegal substances.
Again, I really do believe that this is a PR stunt from Top Rank. I would love to see this fight happen like everyone else, but I don't believe that it's going to happen based on the factors that stopped negotiations earlier this year. I just can't see both parties bowing down to each other, and making this event happen. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Everyone have a nice day!!!!!
I think both these guys really want to fight. And it's not for legacy. Both Manny and Floyd know where they stand when it comes to the money pit.
We are to the point where we are about to burst with anxiety with this fight. And both Arum and GBP know it. So they are going to ride this **** until it's fully ripe to cash in on the biggest non-team sport event in history.
Cash ultimately dictates everything in these negotiations. So all of this blogging bull**** about who's fighter is better than the other is nonsence.
Both Manny and Floyd are licking their chops not at the fight itself, but at the fact that they are going to cash in BIG when it's all over...all at our expense.
