so is this ANOTHER floyd fan trying to change the definition of a term? I mean seriously? First, we had floyd fans trying to change the definition of "fan base", then floyd fans trying to change what a "decade" was and now we got this fool trying to change the definition of "pure boxer". Do you know that no one in the world fits perfectly into any 1 category? I dont know how many times I got to mention the applicaton of all around boxing skills and abilities constitutes my definition of Pure boxing. Adding your god given gifts on top of pure boxing skill does not mean your all of a sudden not a pure boxer. You seem to think one guy is not a boxer cause he holds his hands low, or because he hooks more than jabs. Roy's footwork is that of a pure boxer, I know the art when I see it.

Ivan Calderon is a pure boxer. But, he is not a slugger, if he comes forward he might not do good he doesn't have that kind of style or maybe skill set to come forward. But, he is a pure boxer.

Its my thread which makes it my point of view does it not? But interesting how the only concept of pure boxing throughout all these post have been made by me. I just find it ironic how little any of you truly know about boxing. So much so that when truth of our beloved sport is presented to you, you are unable to process it.
