Honestly I think something was mentally wrong with him during the Maidana fight. I hope he got whatever personally problems he had during that time worked out, because I don't buy the "he has no heart" b.s. that is said about him.

He fought well. I'm still interested in seeing how he would handle a little adversity.

Did HBO interview Ortiz and Campbell afterwards?

he didn't impress me too much at all. He came out fighting scared in the first round until he got the knock down...when he realized campbell had nothing for him he started showboating suddelly with all the smirks. He was toying instead of fighting a guy he shoulda had out. Campbell is a pure bum and im sad to say, but he fought like roy jones of today. The show was so bad i didn't finish watching that fight so idk if he even stopped him but regardless, it shoulda came way sooner

Maybe something like (just throwing something out there)

            Khan vs Maidana July
            Ortiz vs Lamont Peterson

            Khan vs Alexander
Ortiz vs Maidana (Ortiz chance redeem himself)

            Double header
            Ortiz vs Bradley
            Khan vs Guzman

            Ortiz vs Khan

This is some fantasy ****...but you get the point.

With all due respect, what's BS about it? He got dragged into a dogfight with Maidana, who is a home-run puncher, and basically quit. He said afterwards he didn't 'deserve' to get beat up like that. There's no grey area there. I wouldn't call him heartless, I like Victor and he fought a hell of a fight even in defeat to Maidana, but I don't doubt that he gave up in that fight. He opted out

he is old. his gameplan was i guess to get ortiz tired cus all he was doing was shelling up and tryna throw a pointless jab after taking combinations. the only time he would even try to work was when ortiz was on the ropes and he missed most of the time. he had no real plan of attack and ortiz knew there was no possible way he could lose. ortiz was enjoying that alot and to me it seemed like a ***** move. he fought a good 10 rounds with a smirk on his face instead of handling his biz the right way.

I actually believe it was personal issues as to why he wasn't prepared mental for that fight with Maidana. It's like he didn't wanna be their in the first place, and I honestly think something was going on (family related) with him. This is why I can't just say "he has no heart", but I will say this; I just hope whatever things he was going through, he gets worked out.

Campbell also threw a fair amount of loaded right hands, they were just mistimed and he couldn't cope with Ortiz's elusiveness. Ortiz was really fighting Southpaw, i.e. very side-on, which made it difficult for Nate. Nate's not a bum at all, but he is getting old and he started in the sport late. I don't think it was a bad performance from him, he just couldn't catch up with Ortiz, who was very hard to catch and who tied Nate up well. Nate looked a little old but he gave it his best. I don't take anything away from him. He fought a younger guy, a tricky Southpaw who was very sharp and kept moving. Campbell looked a lil ragged. It was a bad style for him...um what else was I gonna say...yeah I get you about Ortiz with a lil showboating, it was kinda unnecessary but Campbell was talking to him in there. Bit of kidology involved

I like the look of Ortiz. At the minute id actually prefer to see Ortiz - Khan rather than Khan - Maidana. Although i cant see Golden boy pitting them against each other so early in there careers.
