agree but this fight was heavily talked about with the mainstream and promoted out the ass... I was expecting around 2 mill to be honest

Schaffer & Taffet were idiots for speaking too soon about the big numbers it would put up and now they may be afraid because it may have only done 1.2 or something. 1.2 is great but since they talked not stop about 2-4mil, it makes it look like garbage. One thing that was dumb was the huge price. They shouldve never jacked up the price because that is always going to bring the sales down. Only jack the price if its a cant miss event like Pac-Mayweather

tickets to go to the fight was absolutely ****in rediculous... Unless you make easily 6 figures a year, your ass had to stay home and watch it on tv... I really wanted to go but I was not about to pay 600 bucks a ticket

They are trying to get every possible buy counted, imo.

While 1.2 Mil is GREAT for any boxing event, I think they have to be a bit disappointed considering they claim this was the most promoted fight in history.

They are doing two thigns one is to get eveything counted so they can make the number look as good as possible. Another thing they are doing is buying time letting the number of 1.2 sink in so when they finally talk about it, it is a known and not a big deal anymore since the numbers are still pretty good.

Or doing a full accounting so they get 1.4 instead of 1.2 and look good even though it falls short of their lofty goals.
