    Facts:

Marquez never had a fight above 135 LBS (list all the fight night weights you want, but the fact remains

Floyd refused to come into the weight they originally agreed on

Floyd originally wanted to fight Marquez @ 147 LBS

Floyd keeps talking about how boxing should be an even playing field, but his choices don't reflect that. Sure, you can say that it was Marquez's fault for signing the contract. But then, wouldn't it also be Cotto's fault for agreeing to fight Pacquiao? But thats besides the point, thats not what this thread is about.

How was Marquez/Mayweather fougth on an "even playing field"?
It was ***** move. He made up for it with Mosley.

But I do see what you're saying. And I didn't enjoy that fight.
He didn't cheat the weight limit that was originally set?

Something that gets swept under the carpet is Floyd originally asked for the Pac fight to be at 154.

If i remembered correctly, Marquez was the one who called him out..And second, the fight was a sparring session for Floyd to got his momentum back..

25, dont act like Floyd hasnt fought big guys before. He's been the smaller guy in more of his fights than anyone in boxing. Also, what if Floyd soon jumps to MW to fight Martinez? Whats the difference between that & JMM? Infact, I bet Floyd would jump all the way up instead of trying to do a catchweight. Also dont forget that Floyd started just 4 pounds north of JMM so lets not try to act like Floyd was a huge monster picking on a little guy. Floyd was fighting at WW but he was gone for 2 years and before then he always came into the ring at 147 pounds for WW fights.

Im sick of people trying to act like the JMM fight was such a mismatch. Did you guys just see the Mosley fight? I still say that I think JMM looked good that night. It was just that Floyd was that good and is a horrible matchup for him. The Mosley fight proves that to me. People can put it on the size all they want but Floyd is just that much better than him

what does it matter that he called him out? Margarito, Williams, Cotto have all called Floyd out. Are you saying Floyd didn't have a choice, but to fight Marquez?

Why not fight a WW then if it was only a sparring session? Why consider fighting a lighweight that has to come up 2 weight classes to fight u?

Someone like Collazo could have made a better opponent to get your groove back.

Marquez called him out? What does that matter? Paul Williams is calling floyd out. Why don't Floyd fight him? I'm pretty sure Floyd will easily outbox him. If it was a sparring session why not come in at the original set weight limit? Even playing field?

lol, as if calling out Floyd is the magic wand to getting him in the ring.

We've seen time and time again, it doesn't work unless you meet certain height requirements.

Why do you guys have such a hard time admitting Floyd isn't always right and he does have faults as well?
