The only thing is that manny workrate will be cut down to about 40 punches a round. Floyd punches back and fluidly. He not gon be in offense and then defense, but in offense and defense simultaneously. There is a reason why folks back up and think about bringing it to him.

Manny will have to evolve into a completely different fighter to beat Floyd. He's good at following Roach's orders but can he adapt in the ring? I don't think so.

But if he gets close Floyd can negate that by clinching and laying on him like Holyfield did to Tyson. That's why Tyson lost his cool and bit his ear off.
But manny can't fight in close. he got no inside fight game and especially not against a fighter who is bigger and stronger.

I agree....me neither. when cotto started moving and boxing, he was flustered. Now times that by ten and that's the fight we'll see!

I agree I also think PBF will dominate but I was trying to imagine a reasonable way Manny can win.

He's too short to box from the outside against Floyd. It has to be get inside and work. Try to pull a Castillo.

i think manny has a great chance, honestly, its hard predict what will happen, i can see floyd countering the **** out of him and manny getting fustrated, but i can also see manny giving floyd no space and raining in the punches and possibly hurting floyd.

i think his footwork will negate the disadvantage in reach, he can dart in and out very fast

That's the thing Floyd has great footwork as well. He's been a superior technical boxer for a long time now. Pac has just become a better technical fighter. Dashing straight in against a counter puncher like Floyd is actually the worse thing to do. Manny has to work his way inside. We saw this against Marquez. Once Marquez guaged Manny's speed he was able to counter him all night long.

I second Spacey with this. I even think that Manny has the best chance out of all of Floyd's past 41 opponents to pull it off.
