He just over-played his hand that's all.
    .
Handspeed is still sharp as hell - legs, he's lost something, he isn't rickety or lacking fluidity by any stretch, but the steadier gait we've seen at welterweight is really marked now (and Floyd himself was quoted as having noticed "signs"). He can effectively disguise any slowdown by compensating in other performance areas in a fight.

Reflexes, maybe lost a touch, but his supreme control of distance can compensate for that.

I thought Floyd just got a bit dumb (by his standards) with his aggression in the 2nd round, leading to him getting caught with that 2nd big right hand. But he fixed up.

      What a clown.
Ricky Hatton fan from day one,, Calzaghe fan from day one,, those guy's are my british heroes in my era.

I seen Mayweather on live uk television for the first time against Gatti and knew he was the guy Hatton had to beat.

Once I took the blinkers off to see Mayweather for what he is,, guess what, Mayweather fan from Hatton D-Day.

Sorry if I haven't watched all his fights on youtube but I've seen enough to know that I absolutely Loved that Mayweather on saturday. Sorry but Roach IS wrong!! And he is not flat footed!! You don't just become flat footed overnight.

Floyd destroys Pac on anyday. Make the fight happen.

So Roach feels that Floyds legs are shot. So then we should expect for the fight to happen since Roach and Pacs logic is to get a fighter once he's on his decline. Nice

But if Floyd's legs and movement were on the slide Roach is ****** to announce it as Floyd will work on those areas to sharpen up.

              In short, Roach should stfu.
maybe he is scared of the way he fought mosley so he is daring mayweather to go back to his old way of fighting because he knows manny cant beat floyd coming forward

                Well, unlikely, of course
But, he might be able to avoid it better these days. I'm not saying a KO is out of the question, mind you. Floyd may wanna load up some more, to put down his p4p rival.

But isn't this a new interview, and didn't he want this fight way before?

                    All good points.

I didn't know that Mayweather had actually indicated that.....
I wonder how many more fights he'll have?

Yeah, I think he decided to be more aggressive for the fans maybe?
Or maybe just to make a statement?

I do not think that Mayweather getting hit, even flush, in the second round is a "flaw". It was more like an error in judgement that required a mind-set adjustment.

                    Like you say..... "fixed".

your funny, you must be one of those numbskulls that thinks that Roach calls up boxing websites and goes to their offices to give off his opinion. ******!!

blame the neverending number of reporters that ask him the same questions to get the same answers and post it to the countles number of boxing websites. putting Roach's name on a headline is as good as putting Pacquiao's or mayweathers name on the headline....guranteed hits!

and there is no way mayweather would "demolish" Pacquiao, he may school him, but not demolish. mayweathers a boxer, not a fighter!
