"Mr. Pacquiao, take the tests, and get ready baby!!" -**** Vitale

Heard this on Mike and Mike in the Morning today. ****ie V went to Mayweather-Mosley this past weekend and was blown away by the whole event. He praised Mayweather's skills and also said "Never bet against Mayweather, baby!"

I know the auto-response I'll get for this. "****ie V is an idiot, what does he know about boxing?"

Guess what, ****ie V is mainstream, and the mainstream shapes public opinion and casual fans. For instance, ESPN is now saying that Pac offered 14 day window for drug testing. It's going to be pretty hard for Pac and Arum to go back to 24 days now. 14 days, right now is the acceptable cutoff for most, so expect backlash on Pac if Arum indeed intends to keep holding his ground.

SI is also saying this. The pressure is on whether Pac said it or not.

It doesn't matter if he said it or not. It's now in the mainstream Lexicon that he DID say it. The number 14 is becoming the status quo. The benchmark, it will be hard for Manny to backtrack from it.

Yep. The fact that it was posted on his own website doesn't help his case either. It's a fair compromise anyways and Pac needs to take it. 14 day cutoff for blood and no cutoff for urine tests.

Agree with this. I'm okay with a 14 day cutoff for blood if they keep testing the urine randomly and test blood after the fight. That is fair.

                  Alex Ariza

                  1) Why is Ariza talking? Why is EVERYONE authorized to speak for Manny? Why do postings show up on Manny's official website, and then we find out Pac had nothing to do with it? Manny needs to tighten up his team.

                  It's not fair to Manny!!

                  2) Ariza was complaining that Shane had to give blood the week before the fight. If Mosley didn't complain, why should Ariza?

                  3) Floyd: "I gave blood, then went out and sparred 12 or 13 rounds". And keep in mind that these are Mayweather rounds. Not 3 minute rounds.
