I feel really conflicted. On one hand i appluade Jose Sulaiman for his stance on the other hand i refuse to agree with anything that he does. I dont know how to feel about this.
Jose Sulaiman, World Boxing Council President, the WBC Board of Governors, and the Federation of Boxing Commissions of Mexico (FECOMBOX) unanimously agreed that they will not authorize Mexican boxers to leave the country to fight professionally in Arizona, United States, due to the shameful, inhumane, and discriminatory anti-immigration law, which is no other thing than a flagrant violation to the basic principles of dignity and equality between races. Enough with Illegals there sucking our system dry. Pregnant illegal womens rush to hospitals last minutes to go on labor. Injure and sick illegals get medicals and just leaved. Please dont tell me Im making this all up its a fact our system encouraged them to get free medicals. Mexico encouraged there citizens to come US illegally, since the illegals send back $$$ to there families which helps Mexicos economy, but not US.
Now our government wants the tax payers to pay for all this loopholes. Free healthcare for everyone is a joke, just an excuse to raise our taxes way more!!!
That is a lame argument because there are definitely more uninsured U.S. citizens going to the emergency room than undocumented immigrants. And the new healthcare bill helps the taxpayers by decreasing the likelihood that anyone will be uninsured; therefore ensuring that everyone will pay their fair share of insurance. You keep saying that undocumented immigrants don't pay any taxes but I am almost certain that anyone living in the United States at some point in any given week, or even day, that they will pay taxes in the form of a sales tax.
I'm African-American and when I hear about this law I can't help but think about the Jim Crow laws in the early 20th century. No matter how big of a problem you feel that undocumented immigrants are, or how many problems that they cause; this new law is unconstitutional. People in Arizona are so focused on the demonizing undocumented immigrants that they have forgotten about their rights as citizens. Yes the United States has a serious problem in securing the border against unlawful entry. However, infringing on the rights of U.S. citizens in efforts to solve this problem is never the correct way to go about it.

Why spend money in Arizona, especially in lieu of the new law they recently passed. I rarely agree with anything Sulaiman does, in this case we find common ground.
It's being challenged by a higher court and isn't in the state constitution, much less the federal constitution. ************* tend to circumvent the constitution in order to enforce "social" policies, either way eff Arizona and I wouldn't spend a dime there and no I'm not Mexican, but this new policy is taking an us versus them approach and it's the wrong approach to take. This is about preserving what ************* view as "American" culture, apart from a common language, if you asked them to define "American Culture" they would offer you blank stares in return, because they can't define it appropriately.
