Kind of, because to qualify as a nemesis they've got to have been competitive fights where both men pushed each other to the limit. It's kind of an indication that they mixed it up with at least one worthy opponent.

Does an ATG fighter look better historically if he had a NEMESIS?

i guess one could argue that if people talk about your great fights after 20-30 years, then yes, having a nemesis will look better.
however, one can also say "he had great competition during his time but he was just so much better than all of them, like michael jordan". i don't see anybody belittling jordan.
nemesis, i meant just rivalry.

Yes it does. Being able to take on another ATG/HOF does wonders for your legacy. Ali-Frazier is the best example of this. They both took losses to each other, but it was as legendary as it gets.
