Mosley beating Floyd isn't just... does he have the skills..

    But the stamina.

You can implement an excellent strategy to outhustle or outwork Floyd.

Or try to expose his defense in one way or another...

But the thing about fighting Floyd is..

You can't get tired while you are doing it.

    At all.

    In any round.

Floyds stamina is partially what makes him so great.. his skills coupled with the fact the man does not get tired, at all.

To me it's one of the biggest differences in this fight... I think Floyd will be able to sustain a higher energy level than Shane consistently throughout 12 rounds.

Mosley isn't no Judah on the stamina issue either.

He wont be tired, but those legs surely will be heavy.

Shanes inability to throw combinations is whats going to lose him the fight. If he could go in there and throw punches like he did at 135 hed have a chance of catching Floyd and hurting him. Loading up on his hooks isnt going to work against Floyd and he'll find himself missing a lot. Being bigger and having more muscle could have lead to him having less stamina which makes him unable to throw those combinations.

            There is only one circumstance.

I said you can't get tired fighting Floyd.

            This is actually true.

So no it isn't false under all circumstances.

            2nd.

Mosley is 38 years old and inactive for 18 months.

Just because the previous fights he has shown an ability to grow stronger, doesn't make this fight no different.

The deck is stacked against him, and that deck is time.

            How is that false?

The thing about Shane to remember. During his losing streak years, he talked about not bouncing on his toes anymore and how he has to get back to doing that.

Well he hasn't gone back to doing that, his footwork is nonexistent which is why anybody who gives him some angles can outbox him now.

Mosley can fight even when he does shows signs of being tired. He looked very exhausted against DLH and looked a bit tired against Collazo. But he regained momentum and kept fighting.

I am not going to an extreme though.

Don't take that as meaning... Mosley is going to be sucking wind by the 6th round. Mosley will be in excellent shape.

                  My point is this:

I think Floyd will be able to sustain a higher energy level than Shane consistently throughout 12 rounds.

When was the last time Floyd was forced to throw more than he had to?
