Clottey was bought out in his fight with manny, that fight was weak. Cant wait for this weekend's fight 2 real welterweights fighting for the #1 spot!

Ha are you serious. Floyd is the younger much fresher fighter in the fight vs Shane. I think Shane's conditioning might be a factor in this fight and allow Mayweather to box and pick his shots on the outside. Pac is the best conditioned fighter at 147 by a ****ing mile. He can easily throw 100 punches a round and keeps his feet and upper body moving the whole fight. I think Pac would absolutely destroy a 39 year old Mosley who has been inactive in 16 months. If Floyd loses to a Mosley who has lost to the likes of Cotto, he should be behind Cotto in the p4p rankings if on them at all.

That would be my guess. He has never once in his career wanted to go to war with an opponent and he has had many fights vs smaller lesser opponents. Why would he know against a big stronger guy who has knockout power. I THINK IT'S HILARIOUS THIS FIGHT STILL HAS TICKETS AVAILABLE. THERE ISN'T HALF THE HYPE THERE WAS FOR PAC VS COTTO. FLOYD HAS MORE FANS ON THIS SITE THEN HE DOES IN THE REAL WORLD. HAHAHAHA

If you watch the pacquiao/marques fight marquez looks bigger than manny. and mayweather was way bigger than marquez in their fight. the only way many vs floyd is a good fight is if floyd decides to engage manny and i doubt floyd will do that. shane and floyd is a way better fight to watch, at least shane will be ok on size, we'll just see which shane shows up. manny and shane is also a good match up, only cause shane likes to fight. either way im looking forward to the fight it'll be intersting to watch.
manny likes fighting bigger guys, floyd prefers smaller. so i dont see what floyds scared of.. why is he hiding behind the bull**** OST

I agree with most of your post however i have to disagree that if Mosley beats Cotto then he should move up in the p4p ranks ahead of the 2 of them. First reason being is that styles make fights and even if Mayweather looses to Mosley I dont see him loosing to Cotto. Also my opinion is is that if Cotto and Mosley were to fight again Mosley would not cruise during any rounds like he did in the first and thus obtaining the win.

But i agree that Manny is a tazmanian devil with a whirlwind of punches and angles. He doesnt get tired and will continue to exchange even when he's hurt. Which is both a good and bad thing. Pac and Mosley would be more of an offensive fight where the upcoming fight is chess match with each fighter attempting to gain position and eventually check mate!

Just because the public appears to be saying that it wants a particular fight doesn't mean its a worthy match up.

I dont disagree that there are many fights that I would have liked to see Mayweather fight...

130 - Acelino Fretis and Joel Cassamayor (both were undefeated at the time and held titles)
135 - none as castillo was the man
140 - kosta tszyu (who chose to retire after loss to Hatton.. cant be considered a Floyd duck.... still would have been an interesting matchup)
147 - Cotto, Margarito, Williams, and of course Pac.

At the time Floyd was choosing not to fight any of the above guys, I was frustrated. Turns out Floyd was right...none of the fights were significant (even though the overwhelming public opinion was that Mayweather was ducking legitimate fights in his weight class).

Public opinion was responsible for supporting the largest paid gate in boxing history and 700k ppv buys in the stinker of a fight between Pac and Clotty..... Public opinion said Pac was taking on too much in choosing to fight DLH or Cotto.....so public opinion about a fight or what fighter is ducking who means nothing.

Now in hindsight.... I have no desire to see Floyd fight any of them with the exception of Williams and Pac (which are fights that still can be made.......)

So I ask you...... really....... Is Floyd really ducking fighters? Unless I missed someone on the list above (which is possible).... tell me who has floyd really ducked?

Seems to me you would have a better case to agrue about Floyd ducking fighters if Roach just agreed to allow Pac to fight Mosley when Shane came to the Wild Card gym asking for the fight.....( I think Freddie told Shane that ...... well...... if your a true Pac fan you already know why Pac isnt fighting Shane...... Seems Pac is ducking Mosley..... doesn't it....... I won't judge too quickly because only time will reveal if Pac is ducking or not)

Same reason Pacquiao needs 20 dudes living with him before a fight, right?

thats what i thought as well but he got caught up listening to his daddy bout the drug test myth. I can't figure out how Shane is not the lineal champ at welterweight when he beat Margarito who beat Cotto. Margarito already beat clottey and cintron. I guess it was left vacant when Marg loss to Paul Williams

If he edges Mosely, whom I believe will be rusty and I already know he won't have the legs to stay close enough, then I'll say Pac still has it.

Let's just hope it pulls in lots of sales and an exciting fight happens.
come on.....floyd has fought ONCE, in about 3 years.....that mosley being "rusty" excuse has got to go.....

Since he wouldn't fight him unless he came in at 142 pounds you might be right. Good to see you after you got chased out of your own thread with your typical ****** comments.
