Well he was adamant Floyd continue to assault Bruseles to the body despite Floyd protests that he was "protecting his body"

Floyd was prob hurting his hands hitting arms.....but Ellerbe was steadfast and said keep doing it....because it's really hurting him even tho it's not showing.......and he was proven right.....he basically stopped him on a body shot......

Roger is a good trainer. He is a former world champion who tells floyd what he needs to know. A good trainer just doesn't sit in the corner and yell and bark **** out. IMO the trainers best work is done BEFORE the fight!

so true.......screaming at them is very counter productive IMO....most really don't react well to it........if the trainer is cool and calm it projects onto the fighter and he is more likely to take in what is said and actualy listen and implement it.

Does Floyd Mayweather have a real Trainer ??? If you watch Floyd fight, Rodger never deals out instructions ..... So my questions are... Is he a trainer??? Do you think him and Floyd and him, are on the same page pre fight??? The latter is Floyd that good he doesn't need instruction...

Excellent question, I wonder that sometimes myself.

I think it has a lot to do with Mayweather taking control of his fights early and doing exactly what he has to do, leaving Roger without much to say other then keep doing what your doing.

When he fought Judah, Roger was giving him some solid advice in the corner.
