Froch during the fight: "He ****ing kills me!"

Steve Bunce to ekstrabladet.dk: "I was right under Froch's corner doing commentary for BBC. Around the 8th or 9th round I heard Froch tell his trainer: He kills me with those bodyshots. He fucking kills me with those bodyshots."

Bunce continues to say: "You could hear the desperation in Froch's voice.

Very good gameplan by Team Kessler. Froch intends to end big in the later rounds. If you keep punching to the body in the first few rounds the opponent will feel his legs tire in the later rounds.

what did Froch say to Kessler right a the end after the final bell. I didnt quite catch it but it was something like you're a tough ****er or something like that. made me chuckle a bit.

Kessler's body work was good last night.

I have a feeling that was one of the reasons Froch opted to move more than put the pressure on like normal.

Indeed it was. We could already from the first round see Kessler digging in some very heavy hits to the body. Full-blooded punches.

That was what they planned. Go to the body fron the get-go.

Wow. I liked Kessler's body work but didn't realize it was taking such an effect.
