froch tried to outbox from the outside which was the wrong gameplan. he should have followed his corners advice to use his jab, not throw single power shots etc. his trainer (rob mcracken) is very clear and always on point but froch just doesn't seem to listen.

he took away his own power by fighting off the back foot, he should have tried to get on the inside and land uppercuts more often.

kess fought well but i think it was a bit of a transition fight for him he was trying to implement new things, frochs long arms and timing threw him off slightly and imo he looked slightly cagey and tentative sometimes. i would have like to see the lead left hook he threw vs ward, more jabs to the chest and the right hand lead but all in all it was a good performance.
IMO froch tried to prove he was "skilled" and ended up looking like an idiot.
that plan was probably his best hope though. he's just a very limited fighter.

if he would've opened up with his slow, wide shots, kessler wouldve thrown his down the middle and wouldve done more damage.
froch leaves himself in bad shape when he swings and misses.

The difference is Kessler wasn't seriously hurt like Froch in the fight (the fall was a slip from a missed punch)
Yeah I thought Froch looked hurt in the 8th, even looked a little wobbly starting the 9th, but I think he recovered well.

Kessler didnt get hurt by Frochs biggest shots, but they definately had an impact on him.

IM sure Froch could have beaten Kessler at home, just like hatton could have beat PBF. But that is why fighting away from home is nearly always hard, and Froch shouldnt have underestimated the task ahead of him.

Doesn't matter when you got professional judges scoring 117-111

i dont know why he says the decision wouldve went to him in his town, and hes proud of saying that, thats just a shame. froch has a big mouth, but he lost he should shut it and not take credit away from kessler.

how come they dont have a super six for welterweights, now that would be somthing epic

              floyd mayweather
              shane mosley
              andre berto
              manny pacquiao
              miguel cotto
joshua clottey(nobody else came to mind)

why not ? they should make that happen

I wish Kessler had a bit more power behind his punches, he would have stopped this ****-talker from talking more crap. Kessler stunned Froch like 5 times in this fight if not more and Froch kept fighting on the back-foot because of it.
