    I was at Abner Mares training camp today

    Took some pics and a quick video of Abner Mares training for his fight with Yonnhy Perez today. They fight on May 22nd on Showtime!

              Men, I still think you guys, made a mistake fighting Perez. Dude is a freaking work horse and I dont see where Abner at this point is better at than Perez. Hand speed are about the same the power goes to Peres foot work to Mares, strength to Perez.

              I think for Abner to win, he needs to fight the perfect fight and box a lot using his jab a lot. If he tries to **** with Perez he will get broken down. I thin if he stays on his toes and box he'll do very well, he cant let Perez crank that punch volume up either.



              Anyways, thanks for the pics and good luck to your fighters!!

                  A lot of people feel that way. But we are confident in Abner. We know Yonnhy is a great champion and Abner needs to be on his game to win. But this is boxing... sometimes, you have to roll the dice!

                  Just don't underestimate him

                    Let me ask you this.

                    Who at 118 could Mares fight for a title and be guaranteed of have a relatively easy time beating?
