Comments Thread For: David Haye: "Mayweather vs. Pacquiao Needs To Happen"

WBA heavyweight champion David Haye has given his thoughts on the failed negotiations to make a fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. After weeks of negotiations earlier this year, the two sides could not agree on the cut-off date for the random Olympic style drug tests. Mayweather made a demand for the testing to continue until 14-days before the fight and Pacquiao wanted them to stop at the 24-day mark. For the state of boxing, Haye says the fight needs to happen. Haye was apparently enjoying himself with London strippers last night - British tabloids. Hangover must have cleared.

              David,

Manny Vs. Floyd should happen and would be great for boxing as a whole, just as Haye vs. W. Klitschko would. You need a rest after the Ruiz fight, fine take a month off and then hit the gym in preparation for your next fight. Haven't you had enough rest with just 3 fights in the last two years? Time to become a full time fighter again!

Floyd and Manny have no legitimate reason to not get their fight made, nor do you and Wladimir.

**** or get of the pot Mr. Haye.

Haye's too busy resting from the fierce negotiations, he needs a rest. He negotiated until he broke his setanta and had to back out of fighting twice.
