However, I prefer Pac to Cotto at 145 then fighting Shane at 145 or below. I don't think the weight really affected Cotto. But, I think it would seriously affected Shane. So I prefer Pac fighting Cotto at 145 to see how he does against a true strong WW and then fighting Shane at 147.

And, is funny that some of the people who say Pac ducked Shane at 142 have a point. But, at the same time, those same people would not have give Pac any credit if he would of beaten Shane at 142. And, rightfully so since Pac should never fight Shane anywhere below 147.
exactly..he would not get credit at 142 (but the fact that Team Pac rejected even that speaks volumes!)..but lets not forget he (Shane) first wanted it at 147..Roach said absolutely not..he (Roach) then said hed fight him at 142..but then when Mosley went on to agree..he still rejected...my point is..if hes such a bum..why wouldnt they face him at 147..or even at a drained 142
(btw..I know you are aware of all this..this is for the uninformed!)

stop your lies..post a link where Shane turned down Pac at 142..now youre back tracking saying other articles exist..show please?
Pac has no choice but to say he will fight Mosley if he beats Floyd..he has to redeem himself from the backlash...

For all the *d*ots, here it is, straight from the horse's mouth !! Fast - Fwd vid to 1:28

Shane was the one that turned down 142lb offer by Roach, he told Roach that he simply could not get down that low. I don't consider that a duck from Shane, that to me was a solid reason for not agreeing to it
          !!

You're right - It was a dodge from team Pac.

              Either:

              1) they knew Mosely would refuse 142

              or

              2) even if he happened to agree, they now have the chance to fight a 142-pound Mosely.

Take your pick; it might even be both.
