As far as I can tell, Golden Boy and/or Haye doesn't want the fight. This is Toney of course, so the **** talking is expected as he'd probably love to land a fight with Hopkins.

Bute would become the first man to KO Hopkins.

I don't think Haye wanted to fight Hopkins so now Bernard is looking at the likes of Bute. But at this point its just Bernard speculating thinking about what he might do. I'm not fan of Bernard but I do think despite the Jones fight that he has abit left and could still defeat some of these young lions.

It's just a question of finding the right opponent. I'm not sure Bute is that guy, He's just too skilled and powerful I feel, I mean Bernard might be able to beat him but I doubt he would want to drain himself down to 168 at this age.

Bute is an open opponent who's a good draw. Dawson and Pascal are of course tied up with each other but that fight isn't even until August and for him to fight either of these guys would presumably take place months after that fight which is a long time to sit around, especially at his age.
