martinez style all wrong for pavilk. I thought pavlik size, reach, and power would give him the fight, but pavlik just should stay away from slick boxers with speed.

pwill doesn't move like martinez so pavlik would have a better fight agianst pwill, but pwill's handspeed would probably give pavlik problems too. and the volume might disrupt pavlik's offense.

i think pavlik needs a new trainer. pavlik needed to feint sergio into throwing a few punches then take a step back and counter w/ a right hand.

great win by sergio. I hope he gets his rematch against pwill. sergio should also return to 154 and try and get a fight w/ cotto (if he beats foreman), although i doubt arum will make that fight.

I agree, I think more chances for success will be there against PWill for Pavlick. I still think the fight is viable.

I think Arum would commit career suicide for Cotto if he allows that fight to pop off. I think Miguel Cotto would gladly take it because its in his nature, however Sergio will have a slight speed advantage and just the power and smoothness to frustrate Cotto. He took alot of great shots from the MW champ without much effect...

I see Paul using the same game plan he used against Margarito. Paul easily beats Pavlik.

Williams ouput would have killed Pavlik. Williams has the ability to move around though not as good as Martinez. But Pavlik looked very vulnerable down the stretch. And from his attitude and demeanor he might have lost that edge that brought him to the top of the MW division.

yeah, but sergio is hard to hit, while pwill is there to be hit. all pavlik needs to do is trade w/ pwill. not saying he's gonna win for sure, but its a better style match up.
