    damn i think pavlik wanted to quit

    pavlik tried to tell lowe something but lowe wouldn't let him say it.

    ****in pavlik. I dunno where pavlik can go now. if he moves up to 168 lbs, he gets beat.

    he can only stay at 160 lbs and try and collect some checks at 160 lbs before retiring some time soon.

    Pavlik sucks. I've been saying it since before he fought Taylor. Can't believe Taylor lost to him twice.

      I was thinking the same thing, I think the Hopkins fight put a lot of doubt into his mind.

        Yeah, I thought he was about to say he couldn't go on with the cuts. Once that cut happened, Martinez looked like a totally different fighter.

          That 2nd cut was bleeding bad. When he went to his corner in the 9th, he said he couldn't see. Loew told him to shut up because he would have lost the fight by KO since the cut was caused by a punch.

              Pavlik was saying "I can't see."

              Lowe told him "Don't say that they'll stop it"

              A doctor will stop a fight if you tell them you can't see. He did NOT want to quit.

                It was a competitive fight at times, but Martinez is a a world class boxer. Martinez gained my full respect after tonight. I have nothing bad to say about the great Martinez. And Pavliks still a good fighter, he adjusted at times in the fight but when he got cut up he just couldn't deal with it. Martinez is amazing, he is the one who cut up Pav's face up.

                    Its sad to see pavlik was a beast!!! I guess the beast has been tamed!!!
